What is Sri Lanka Tourism Hub?
It's a single website where you can find and book hotels, vehicles with drivers, tour guides, restaurants, spas, safaris, surf lessons, retail shops, tour agencies, musicians, hair & beauty salons, and artisan crafts - all across Sri Lanka, from real local businesses.
You can also find tourism-related jobs, or post one if you're hiring. Every business on the site has been checked and verified by our team before it goes live, so what you see is a real, working business.
Creating an account
Click Sign up in the top corner of any page. You'll be asked which kind of account you want:
- Customer - to browse and book. This is the default, and every account (even a supplier's) can also browse and book like a customer.
- Supplier - to list your own business (hotel, vehicle, guide service, restaurant, and so on).
- Job Seeker - to build a profile and apply for tourism jobs.
- Employer - to post job vacancies for your business.
Fill in your name, email and a password, and you're in. That's the whole signup - we deliberately kept it short. If you signed up as a supplier, you'll pick which type of business you run from a dropdown; everything else, including your bank details for getting paid, is filled in afterward from your own dashboard, at your own pace.
Already have an account? Use Log in in the same spot. Forgotten your password? There's a "Forgot password?" link right on the login form.
Want to add another role later? Go to your Profile page and add it from there. One account can hold as many roles as you need; you never need a second account.
Browsing & booking
From the home page, pick a category (Hotels, Vehicles, Guides, and so on) or use the search box. Each listing page shows photos, a description, pricing, and a booking form. Pick your dates (or the service you want), and follow the checkout steps - you'll pay securely through our payment partner, PayHere.
Every listing you see has already been verified by our admin team, so you're booking with a real, checked-out business. If anything about a listing looks wrong, use the "Report" option on the listing page, or contact support.
Changing language & currency
Near the top of every page, you'll find a language switcher (flags) and a currency switcher. The site supports English, Sinhala, Tamil, Hindi, Russian, German, Chinese, French, Korean and Japanese.
Picking a language also switches the displayed currency to match that country automatically. You can still pick a different currency afterward if you prefer, and that choice sticks until you change the language again. Currency conversion is for display only: what you're actually charged is always shown clearly at checkout.
Managing your bookings
Click My Bookings (top of the page once logged in) to see everything you've booked - upcoming, past, and cancelled. Each booking has its own page with the supplier's contact details, your dates, and a downloadable invoice.
Cancellation terms depend on the supplier's policy, shown on the listing before you book.
Your wallet & loyalty points
Every account has a Wallet (find it from your Profile page) that tracks any refunds or credits owed to you, and loyalty points earned from bookings. Wallet balances are always shown in LKR.
Becoming a supplier
If you signed up as (or later added) a supplier role, go to your Supplier dashboard - it's in the sidebar under "Supplier" once you're logged in. From there you'll see "My hotels", "My vehicles", or whichever category matches your business, plus a "+ Add new" button to create your first listing.
Filling in a listing takes a few sections - basic info, contact details, photos, pricing, and so on. You can save it as a draft and come back later; nothing is published until you're ready. Once you submit it for verification, our admin team reviews it before it goes live and travelers can book it.
Managing your listings & getting paid
Bookings on your listings show up in your Bookings inbox (in the Supplier sidebar). Accept or decline as needed. Once a booking is completed, the amount owed to you (after our small commission) appears under My payouts.
To actually receive a payout, add your bank details from your profile - look for the "Bank details" section and pick your bank from the dropdown. This is optional at signup on purpose, but you'll need it on file before your first payout - if it's missing, your Supplier dashboard shows a reminder banner.
Jobs: finding one, or hiring
Looking for tourism work? Add the Job Seeker role from your Profile page, then build your profile under "Job Seeker" in the sidebar. Turning on "Open to work" makes your profile visible to employers browsing Job Seekers. Apply to postings from the Jobs page; your contact details only unlock to an employer once you apply.
Hiring? Add the Employer role, then post a vacancy from "My job postings" in the sidebar. Once approved, it's visible on the public Jobs page and candidates can apply directly.
Your profile & account settings
Your Profile page is where you update personal details (country, mobile number, address), your Tax ID for formal invoices, bank details for payouts, and add or manage extra account roles. It's reachable from the account menu on any page once you're logged in.
Getting help
Still stuck? Once logged in, go to Support in the sidebar and submit a ticket - our team replies there directly. You can also reach us by phone, WhatsApp or email using the details in the footer of this page.
