Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Sri Lanka Tourism Hub at srilankatourismhub.lk ("the Platform"). By creating an account, browsing listings, or making a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What we are

Sri Lanka Tourism Hub is a marketplace. We connect independent travelers with independent, verified suppliers - hotels, vehicle owners, tour guides, spas, safari operators, restaurants, retail shops, tour agencies, surf centers, musicians, salons and artisans. We are not ourselves a hotel, transport operator, tour guide, or manufacturer of any goods sold through the Platform - each listing is owned and operated by its own independent supplier, who is responsible for the accuracy of their listing and for delivering the service or product they offer.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering, and you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to register.

3. Supplier listings and verification

Suppliers register and submit their own business information and, depending on category, supporting documents for verification. A listing is only published on the Platform after passing our review. Suppliers agree to keep their listing information accurate and to honour bookings they have accepted.

4. Bookings and payment

The price shown to you at checkout is the total price you pay - we do not add any hidden markup on top of the supplier's price. Payment is collected either by card through our payment partner PayHere, or from your Platform wallet balance. Payment is held by the Platform and only released to the supplier once your booking is marked completed - see our Return & Cancellation Policy for full detail on cancellations and refunds.

5. Commission (for suppliers)

The Platform charges suppliers a commission, deducted only from the supplier's own payout once a booking is completed - it is never charged to, or added onto, the traveler's price. As a launch promotion, commission is 0% until 31 August 2026, after which the standard rate of 5% applies. We may change this rate for future bookings; any change will be reflected in your supplier dashboard.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or reviews.
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform's booking or payment process to avoid fees.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or to harass or defraud another user.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Platform's systems or security.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform's name, logo, and design are owned by us. Content you or suppliers upload (photos, descriptions, etc.) remains owned by whoever uploaded it, but by uploading it you grant us a licence to display it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. Because suppliers are independent businesses, we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the services or products they provide, or for their acts or omissions - our role is to facilitate discovery, booking, and payment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
